Overview
Hiroto Ikuta, age 29, part-time worker. He has no steady job, no girlfriend, and none of the anxiety about the future that most people have. He is an easygoing free spirit. Simply because of his good nature, Hanae Wada, an elderly neighbor he befriends, gives him her bungalow free of charge. Set in Asagaya, Koenji, and other neighborhoods in Tokyo's Suginami Ward, this gently illuminating story follows changing seasons and unchanging days—a moratorium in a gifted bungalow.
