António Fonseca
Biography
Portuguese actor. Born in 1953 in Santo Tirso, Portugal, Fonseca studied Theatre and Philosophy. THEATRE: Catarina and the Beauty of Killing Fascists (National Theatre, UK and international tours from Festival d’Avignon); other theatre includes: Sandro W. Junqueira's Those who go to the sea don't return to land (directed by Giacomo Scalisi); Pedro Mexia's Sweden (directed by Nuno Cardoso); Federico Fellini's Orchestra Rehearsal (directed by Tónan Quito); Pedro Gil's The Unforgettable Teacher; The Lusiadas as You've Never Heard Them (based on Luís de Camões); and Dennis Kelly's The Ritual Slaughter of George Mastromas (directed by Tiago Guedes).
