Biography

Raised in the East Bay, California and a graduate of the film school at University of North Carolina Wilmington, Sievey Jackson is a British-American writer, director, and actor who developed a passion for storytelling at an early age. Growing up on a palette of earnest storytellers like Robert Zemeckis, Michael Bond, and Frank Capra, he came to develop a worldview on how stories can make people and their lives better. To honor this view, Sievey is making his directorial debut with the short films "Family Game Night" and "Movie for Grandma" with the help of the many friends and peers he has met working as an set PA on several big budget projects in the Wilmington region and Director of Photography on indie features such as Reid Williams's feature film “Ex Games.” Currently, he is developing his first feature and starting up the creative collective Aisle7, with the vision of producing creator driven short films that also provide extensive behind-the-scenes that helps to demonstrate the filmmaking process to make it more accessible for artists everywhere.
