Hiroaki Kawatsure
Biography
Hiroaki Kawatsure (born June 20, 1977, in Tochigi Prefecture, Japan) is a Japanese actor. He has worked extensively in film, television, stage productions, and V-Cinema, with a particular presence in horror and genre films. His film credits include The Slit-Mouthed Woman (2007), Onechanbara: Bikini Samurai Squad (2008), The Slit-Mouthed Woman 2 (2008), Grotesque (2009), Wangan Midnight (2009), Helldriver (2011), and Ghost of the Prison (2023). His television appearances include Mother, AIBOU: Tokyo Detective Duo, and Avataro Sentai Donbrothers. In 2009, Kawatsure and filmmaker Kyuya Nakagawa launched Dogma 96, a Japanese film movement and short-film project. He was appointed a Tochigi Future Ambassador in 2015.
