Ye Qing
Biography
Julia Ye Qing (born November 13, 1988) is a Chinese actress from Yakeshi, Hulunbuir, Inner Mongolia. A graduate of the Beijing Film Academy's performance department, she first rose to prominence for her role as the gentle and clever palace maid "Yutan" in the 2011 hit Qing dynasty drama Scarlet Heart (Bu Bu Jing Xin). Since then, she has built a versatile career across both television and film, including the second season Scarlet Heart 2, the Mango TV hit Under the Power, and Across the Ocean to See You, as well as film appearances in Brotherhood of Blades, for which she won the Best Newcomer Award at the 2nd China-Australia International Film Festival and received a nomination for Best Newcomer at the 22nd Beijing College Student Film Festival.
